Remember that there was an event that took place on this day 24 years ago, a tragic event. Do you remember where you were and what you were doing? As time goes past, it is easy for this day to become a distant memory. Please do not let the passage of time ever keep you from taking a moment to remember it.

Remember… Today and every day remember…
Remember those who rushed in to help when all others were rushing out.
Remember those who sacrificed all to save the innocents.
Remember where you were when you received the news about the attacks. Were you in a place of safety? The first responders were not. They risked everything.
Today remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Say a prayer for the people who were there and survived, as for many of them, their lives were dramatically changed forever. Say a prayer for the families that lost a loved one.
Thank your local first responders for their dedication to protecting your community. Remember the many Americans who have served and are currently serving in our nation's military.
“May the lives remembered, the deeds recognized, and the spirit reawakened be eternal beacons, which reaffirm respect for life, strengthen our resolve to preserve freedom, and inspire an end to hatred, ignorance and intolerance.” These words are the final part of the mission statement of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center in New York City.
“The attacks of September 11th were intended to break our spirit. Instead we have emerged stronger and more unified. We feel renewed devotion to the principles of political, economic and religious freedom, the rule of law and respect for human life. We are more determined than ever to live our lives in freedom.” --Rudolph W. Giuliani. December 31, 2001.
Take care,
Mark
