A Few Smart Phone Camera Tips
I have been asked a number of times, “What's the best camera”? My response is always, “the camera that you have with you”. Smart phones can take amazing photos and I hope to provide a little insight on how to use them to their maximum capacity. So here are three tips for you:
1. Utilize Grid Lines to Enhance Your Composition - Activate the grid feature on your camera to assist in achieving a balanced shot. This tool can be found in most phone camera apps and provides guidance in keeping the horizon level, particularly beneficial when capturing portraits against iconic backdrops. According to the rule of thirds, it is recommended to position key elements off-center rather than in the middle of the frame. However, it is important to note that rules are not set in stone and can be intentionally broken for creative effect. Once you have mastered the rule of thirds, feel free to experiment and push the boundaries of traditional composition techniques.
2. Utilize natural light whenever feasible - When capturing photographs, it is crucial to ensure that you are utilizing optimal lighting. The most effective method to achieve this is by utilizing natural light whenever possible.
3. Shooting Through a Window - When capturing a photograph through a window, it is important to aim directly at the surface. Ideally, your camera should be positioned perpendicular to the window. The closer you are to the window, the more likely it is that any reflections will be minimized or eliminated.
EASTER
Easter is a time of renewal, hope, and transformation commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. It symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and life over death, reminding us that no matter how challenging our circumstances may be, there is the promise of redemption. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is found in Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24, and John 20.
Without the resurrection, our belief in God's saving grace through Jesus is worthless. 1 Corinthians 15:1-19
Easter Symbolism
In a world where bunnies and eggs steal the spotlight, the true essence of Easter can often be obscured. It's like searching for Waldo in a sea of clones - you know he's there somewhere, but he's not always easy to find. Easter eggs are not just for breakfast; they symbolize new life and the resurrection of Jesus. It's like cracking open a chocolate egg and discovering a sweet reminder of hope and renewal.
God sent His own Son to die on a cross and rise again so our relationship with Him could be renewed (John 3:16)
Easter is a time to rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, proving that he is not just any ordinary Mark or John, but the true Son of God.
Prior to Easter, Good Friday was anything but a “good” day for Jesus, as he endured crucifixion and suffering. However, in a remarkable turn of events just three days later, he triumphantly rose from the dead! The women who arrived at the tomb were expecting a closed and sealed entrance, but lo and behold, the tomb was open and empty. Jesus had orchestrated the greatest plot twist in history!
As Christians observe Easter each year, it serves as a poignant reminder of the fundamental beliefs that define our faith. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not merely a historical event, but a spiritual truth that continues to inspire and uphold believers on their journey of faith. Let us carry the profound message of Easter's true significance with us as we forge ahead in faith, knowing that the risen Christ is in Heaven preparing for those who have faith in Him.
Nothing in this life is more important than your relationship to Jesus Christ! What type of relationship do you have? Is it a personal one? If not, do not wait to begin that type of relationship with Him.
Jesus of Nazareth. To this day, no other figure in human history has ever gripped the imagination quite like the carpenter and rabbi, the man His followers have said for over 2,000 years is the Son of God.
